We were proud to sponsor and take part in this year’s Blackburn Winter Warmer 10K, organised by Blackburn Road Runners and held at Witton Park on Sunday 1 February.

The annual event began with a 2K children’s fun run on the athletics track, followed by the main 10K race. The route, featuring the well-known Buncer Lane climb and a a scenic descent through Pleasington, challenged runners of all abilities before finishing back on the track.

Around 800 runners took part, supported by fantastic marshals and volunteers who created a great atmosphere and showcased the strong community spirit that defines events like this across the region.

As a firm with deep roots in Lancashire, we’re proud to support local initiatives such as the Winter Warmer that bring people together and promote wellbeing, teamwork and community engagement.

Congratulations to the organisers and to everyone who took part, especially Team KBL. Our fantastic group of 13 runners, many new to the 10K distance, trained hard, tackled the course with enthusiasm and supported one another from start to finish.
