Changes to Statutory Pay

The Department for Work and Pensions has recently published its annual rate increased for the upcoming year 2023/2024.
In April 2023, the National minimum wage is due to increase as follows:
23+ – from £9.50 to £10.42
21-22 – from £9.18 to £10.18
18-20 – from £6.83 to £7.49
16-17 – from £4.81 to £5.28
In addition, new statutory pay rates will take effect in April 2023.
The new rates are reflected below:
Statutory Maternity Pay – from £156.66 to £172.48
Statutory Paternity Pay – from £156.66 to £172.48
Statutory Adoption Pay – from £156.66 to £172.48
Statutory Shared Parental Pay – from £156.66 to £172.48
Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay – from £156.66 to £172.48
Statutory Sick Pay – from £99.35 to £109.40
