Senior Associate, Berin Jones joined KBL in May 2022 from Irwin Mitchell Solicitors where he was instrumental in the formation of the Manchester based Trusts, Tax and Estates team. Prior to that, Berin spent almost 30 years at WHN Solicitors latterly heading up the firms Private Client offering. Berin is a highly experienced wills, tax, and trust Solicitor, well-versed in handling the full range of estate planning for those with high-value estates, the elderly and vulnerable. Berin has particular expertise in dealing with estate accounts and IHT calculations in complex probate cases including contentious matters.

My 'claim to fame' / something no-one knows about me (until now):
I once attempted to start a conversation with Kate Middleton (Princess of Wales) in a supermarket on Anglesey, although I hadn’t realised it was her until my wife confirmed it. On a professional level, a Judge once insisted that I bring several dead/frozen parrots to Court – but that’s a story for another time!
