KBL Solicitors were recently instructed as legal advisors to Dean Cockett of Burnley butchers, Haffner’s, on their acquisition of Pasture Farm Foods Ltd.

This recently completed deal strengthens their food business portfolio and provides an opportunity to expand their offering to both wholesale and retail customers. New owners, Dean and Ted Cockett are delighted to bring together two popular Lancashire brands as part of their expansion and with the combined greater bakery capacity are looking forward to being able to offer local and national meat and pie deliveries.

Brothers, Dean and Ted Cockett took over Haffner’s, a long established, family run traditional butchers in Burnley last September. The brothers grew up in Pendle and Burnley and are very proud of the continued expansion of their business in an area they love, this is the third acquisition that Dean has been involved in, and he is confident it won’t be the last. “Should further opportunities present themselves with the right synergies in the right locations, we would certainly be interested in taking a look, with a view to adding them into our group.”
