Legal 500 recommends KBL

Commercial Litigation gets a "first tier" ranking from Legal 500 with several other teams at KBL Solicitors being ranked as "leaders in their field" in the latest edition of national legal directory The Legal 500.

The guide, produced annually, has developed into the largest and most in-depth survey of the UK legal market. The 2011 edition ranks KBL Solicitors as a first tier firm for Commercial Litigation saying “With a City background, Michael Slater heads the team at Kippax Beaumont Lewis, and is noted for his hands-on approach. The client sector is mostly OMBs, local and national.”

There were also high rankings for:

Corporate & Commercial - “Jonathan Shorrock and Philip Stephenson are a popular choice. They service a predominantly North West client base of OMBs.”

Employment - “The ‘commercial’ John Hassells has developed a standalone practice popular with SMEs and executives in the North.”

Family - “Nick Lewis is the name to note.”

Commercial Property - “Debbie Roberts’ team has remained stable despite the recession. Work features landlord/tenant advice to a national fragrance retailer and to regional clients, to private investors, and to housebuilders such as Jones Homes.”
