Fortalice Awareness Day

A BOLTON law firm is helping fellow solicitors to understand more about assisting local women and children fleeing domestic violence. The Bolton News

KBL Solicitors has organised a Fortalice Awareness Day on Thursday, June 19 at its premises in Mawdsley Street in the town centre.

Bolton Women’s Aid, which runs the hostel, has just opened a new and modern refuge in Farnworth to act as a temporary haven for women and children who have suffered from violence at home.

The awareness day is to help members of Bolton Incorporated Law Society understand recent changes affecting victims of domestic violence, to ensure provision of the best possible advice and support for clients.
