Equality Act 2010-Changes Today

We are concerned about the quality of drafting of the Act - specifically the sections of the Act dealing with Compromise Agreements.
Suffice to say until these drafting issues are resolved by amendment or case law - employers should ensure any Compromise Agreement they use is fit for purpose, up-to-date and that it effectively settles discrimination claims under the Act. There may, depending on the issues - be other safer ways to effect a settlement.
