"First Tier" for Litigation

Legal 500 rank KBL’s Litigation team as a “First Tier” firm.

The Legal 500 has developed into the largest and most in-depth survey of the UK legal market. The most recent edition ranks KBL Solicitors as a “first tier firm” for Commercial Litigation.

“KBL has benefited from developing a number of strategic alliances with local accountants and surveyors. Led by Michael Slater, the team has recently handled a variety of shareholder disputes, as well as seeing a spike in passing off actions”.

Several of KBL’s other legal teams were also mentioned as “leaders in their field.”

Corporate & Commercial At KBL, Jonathan Shorrock and Philip Stephenson are popular choices for a client roster largely made up of owner-managed businesses. The team advised on a mix of MBOs, demergers and equity investments, and is increasingly active in commercial matters.

Employment KBL acts predominantly for senior executives, but also advises employers. The team, led by John Hassells, has been busy in tribunal work, and redundancy and restructuring issues.
